Types of Treatments
Chiropractic
Full body assessment and adjustments for painful, stiff, and immobile joints of spine and extremities.
This session begins with gentle myofascial work aimed at loosening the muscles surrounding your joints.
Following this, direct manual manipulation is applied to your spine or other joints to alleviate restricted movement and muscle tension. By stimulating receptors within the joint, this technique reduces pain and enhances joint mobility.
Massage Therapy
During this session, a combination of effective soft tissue techniques is utilized to alleviate pain and tension in muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Depending on the patient's comfort level, chiropractic adjustments may also be incorporated. Furthermore, corrective exercises tailored to the individual's needs will be demonstrated and recommended as appropriate.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapy encompasses rehabilitation utilizing corrective exercises, strength training, and stability techniques to optimize bodily function and alleviate pain.
Acupuncture
An acupuncture session begins with an in-depth consultation, where the practitioner reviews the patient’s health history and may use pulse and tongue diagnostics to assess internal imbalances. Based on this, the doctor will create a personalized treatment plan targeting specific acupuncture points. Thin, sterile needles are inserted into these points, typically causing minimal discomfort. The needles are left in place for 15-30 minutes, allowing energy (qi) to flow and balance to be restored. Post-treatment, the practitioner may suggest lifestyle changes or follow-up sessions to support healing, as acupuncture often has cumulative effects.

Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT)
The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® is a well-established and evidence-based approach for the mechanical evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal issues. It emphasizes patient education, empowerment, and active involvement in the treatment process. It involves using repetitive or sustained movements of joints and soft tissue to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal pain.
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) is a comprehensive method encompassing treatment, exercises, and rehabilitation techniques aimed at reprogramming the brain to enhance posture, stability, and movement across the body. Its innovative approach has significantly impacted movement improvement and has been seamlessly integrated into the exercise and rehabilitation regimens of elite athletes at both Olympic and professional levels.
Orthopedic Post Surgical Rehabilitation
Orthopedic Post-Surgical Rehabilitation is a physician-led program tailored to each individual's condition, facilitating their journey through the phases of healing and recovery following orthopedic surgery. The treatment is structured into three key phases: inflammation, repair, and recovery. Specific therapies, such as massage, scar tissue treatment, stretching, strength training, and physical therapy, are administered based on the respective phase to optimize recovery. The ultimate objective is to restore the patient to full functionality without limitations and equip them with the necessary skills and tools to prevent future injuries.
Posture/Core Training
Posture training begins with a focus on facilitating proper intra-abdominal breathing techniques. Once the patient has established correct motor patterns, they are guided through various movements and positions to maintain a stable core. Core training plays a pivotal role in minimizing the risk of injury by enhancing the strength and stability of the body.
Instrument assisted soft tissue/scraping/graston
Instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, such as scraping or Graston technique, involves the use of specialized tools to release myofascial adhesions, break down scar tissue, and enhance blood circulation.
Cupping
Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, drawing fluid into the area to stimulate blood flow, support healing, and alleviate pain.
Therapeutic taping/kinesiotaping
Therapeutic taping, also known as kinesiotaping, is the strategic application of elastic tape on the body to offer support, alleviate pain, reduce swelling, and enhance performance.
Myofacial Stretch Therapy
Myofascial Stretch Therapy entails assisted stretching techniques that extend beyond self-treatment to achieve maximum stretching benefits, thereby reducing tension and increasing flexibility in muscles and joints.
Myofascial release
Myofascial release is a technique that utilizes a combination of traction, compression, and twisting maneuvers applied to soft tissues to alleviate muscle tension and restrictions.
Active release techniques
Active Release Techniques (Pin and stretch) involve identifying and isolating specific tissues that are causing pain. This technique includes elongating the tissue under tension from a provider, starting from a shortened position. It is effective in relieving pain associated with various musculoskeletal conditions.
Post isometric relaxation (PIR)
Post-isometric relaxation refers to the reduction of muscle tone in a single muscle or a group of muscles following a sequence of isometric contractions, succeeded by stretching those muscles.
Trigger point therapy
Trigger point therapy is a soft tissue technique that entails applying sustained pressure to alleviate painful tension in muscles and fascia, commonly experienced as a knot in the muscle.
Cranial therapy
Cranial therapy involves a gentle hands-on massage technique aimed at relaxing the muscles around the skull. This technique has also demonstrated effectiveness in facilitating somatic emotional release, aiding in the reduction of severe stress or trauma.
Suboccipital release
Suboccipital release utilizes myofascial techniques targeted at reducing tension in the neck muscles around the base of the skull. This approach aims to alleviate pain and headaches associated with neck discomfort.
Pelvic/Sacral therapies
Pelvic and sacral therapies utilize myofascial techniques directed at soft tissues around the pelvic girdle. These methods are particularly effective in addressing chronic lower back pain and back discomfort associated with pregnancy.
